Ann Labounsky

Jean Langlais wrote a body of music for organ second in extent only to that of Bach. Ann Labounsky has completed a long-term project of recording all of these works, including some that were never published, and the results have met with universal praise. A leading American disciple of Langlais, she enjoyed his collaboration in recording the earlier volumes in the series.

The series is comprised of 25 CDs in 12 volumes, and is the first and only complete recording of the organ works of Jean Langlais. See the contents of each volume below.

Note: Some volumes are currently out of print, and volumes 10, 11, and 12 are not yet released. However, all 12 volumes will be released as a boxed set in honor of the Langlais centennial; release is currently scheduled for 2008.
